''I later went to the Lee Strasberg School in New York, but I know more fine actors, directors and writers from the high school classes than I do from that professional acting class.''Įncouraged by his mother to pursue his dreams and never give up, Spiner went to New York after college, did the usual cabdriving, odd-job number for six months, then started making it off and on Broadway (''Sunday in the Park With George,'' ''The Three Musketeers,'' ''Big River'').
